Eugenia Koo is an analyst at RRE Ventures. A connector, critical thinker, and adventurer, Eugenia focuses on sourcing attractive investment opportunities and helping fund breakout businesses.
Prior to joining RRE, Eugenia was a journalist for The Next Web, covering East Coast startup headlines and activity.
Eugenia began her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she advised financial institutions clients on debt and preferred equity capital markets. Following BofAML, Eugenia joined kbs+ Ventures, a seed stage investor in the advertising and marketing technology sector. Over the years, she has also served in various roles at Lean Startup Machine, Pro Mujer, JPMorgan Chase, Caxton FX, and Sikorsky Aircraft, as well as with former Senator Hillary Clinton.
Moreover, Eugenia is co-founder of Hack'n Jill, where she conducts highly technical social experiments featuring a balanced ratio of men and women technologists. She additionally serves as a board member of the New York Venture Community and is a mentor at iMentor, a nonprofit that empowers students in low-income communities.
Eugenia graduated with high distinction and business honors from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance and International Business, where she was a Mitte Scholar.
