Quirky
Social product development
Quirky is a social products company that receives ideas for innovative products from members of its community who pay a fee to have their idea considered for production. The Company leverages its community to receive feedback on potential products and then Quirky’s community, aided by the Company’s staff, engages in all phases of product design including industrial design, usability, naming and tag line. The Company then manufactures, produces and distributes the products, sharing revenue not only with the original inventor but with each member of the community who contributed to the product’s design.
